Certification „EQ in Action" (2013)

This unusual way of evaluating emotional competencies immediately intrigued me. The EQ in Action Profile has the person observe short videos with scenes from different work environments. Reactions and Emotions have to be rated from the person´s point of view as well as of the person acting in the video. Usually when working with questionnaires there is a high risk of answers influenced by social desirability or over-positive self-reflection. This is avoided here.

The resulting profile contains graphics and a detailed description and is an excellent starting point for coaching. Elements of Emotional Intelligence can be targeted for development – research shows that it is absolutely possible to enhance your Emotional Intelligence!
